This time we interviewed incredible artists from all around on how to talk about art, ways to approach it, and questions to ask. Our first guest - an amazing artist - Evelyne Brader-Frank
A: Please, tell us a bit more about yourself. What brought you into art?
E: I think, I was born an artist.
A: What inspires you the most?
E: The shape and forms of the female figure. It’s so elegant and joyful …
A: What would you recommend to someone new to art (rather artist or just an admirer), what to begin with?
E: Enjoy art wherever you can. There is something artistic in so many things.
A: Your top 3 favorite adjectives related to art?
E: Touching, balanced, inspiring
A: The best angle to look at art is from...?
E: Far and close. There is always a different dialogue when you look at art from a distance and from nearby… both are important.
A: The Perfect phrase to start any conversation about art is:....?
E: What kind of art do you have in your home?
A: Must-read books to talk about art (or do we even need them)?
E: I personally love the biographies of famous sculptors…
A: If you could change one thing in the art world - what would it be?
E: Better support for artists that start into this shark bowl.
A: Please, share your favorite quote (not necessarily related to art)
E: If I had more time, I would have written you a shorter letter.
Thank you!
